The influential musician shared his message during a powerful live performance at the 2025 GHALCA President’s Cup, held at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, July 6. The highly anticipated football event drew thousands of fans and dignitaries, including President Mahama himself.

“Support the Government If You Want to Prosper” – Shatta Wale
In his address to the enthusiastic crowd, Shatta Wale—born Charles Nii Armah Mensah—called on young people to align themselves with the current administration’s agenda for economic transformation. He emphasized that real change begins with unity and support.

“From now till the next election, support this government,” Shatta Wale told the audience. “If you are a youth and you want to see money in your pocket, then support this government, because it has come to put money in your pocket.”
